What is the purpose of acquiring stereo pairs of image data?
Answer
The purpose of a stereo pair is the creation of a stereo model. The stereo model
gives an impression of the 3D world. It can be used to extract information to
which an X, Y and Z coordinate are linked, e.g. a DEM.
