21 Discuss restaurants, bars and fast food outlets:

Welcome at discussion about different kinds of places to eat drink and spend free time :

Restaurants, bars and fast food market Is wide and long subject to speak. Restaurants as you know are places where people come to eat, drink and spend their free time the same with bars and fast food points. Those three things are linked , but do you realize how many differences are between restaurants bars and fast food?

I am going to present it for you as much as I can :

Let's begin with restaurants :Maitre de L'hotel welcomes you, show you the best place to sit or you choose a place where to sit , waiter comes to you , give you a menu , later he takes the order ( dishes and drinks ) then later he brings every meal from kitchen direct to your table, at the end should ask if everything was ok and waiting to question about the bill, at the present time is regular that waiters have to ask about method of payment ( cash, credit card or vouchers or if this is hotel's restaurant , charge to room) .

Bars are more simple, Bartender welcomes you, give a menu bar or directly ask “what to drink” “what would you like to drink” or sometimes give recommendation (mostly for women), he prepares drinks, serves it and asking about payments in hotel's bars it is necessary to ask if guest wish to charge to room.

Fast food are prepared to sell as fast as possible food and drinks , Clients come to fast food restaurants , later need to look for selling point or selling desk , there guests see all menu which is behind the sellers, menu there is kind of background, then have to order, pay , wait maximum 3 minuts for just ordered food and drink you get it on the tray and later you have to take the tray with you take a place and enjoy your meal. Throw the trashes to trashcan.

First and making most difference is what you can order: in resturants you get wide range and very good quality food as , beef, lamb, salmon ,veal, sea food, poultry(duck, turkey) , good service , recommendation, menu of drinks, often little gifts for children, factors which are itemized are changing the price.

In bars is common to order only drinks sometimes you can get tapas but nothing more. Service is easier and faster,.

Fast food you do half of job which would be done in restaurant. You come to desk then bring to table and clean after it by this factors price go down and for not big amount of cash you can eat. Variety of food is simple, mostly beef or pork or chicken.

When you choose a place to eat or drink , you have to realize what kind of food do you want and how much cash you want to spend.

Thank for your attention!
