Classification grains

Separation of a mixture of grains according to their 

size called screening (support operation) or 
sorting (operation main).

Types of screens :

- Sifter made of the wire or the fabric ,
- sifter with square hole (rare rectangular) or round.

Kind of shifter:

Parameters getting in for the 

process of sieving:

- the frequency and the vibration 

amplitude,

- pitch of the sieve to the level,
- amount of material on the sieve,
- shape of the grain.
